  • All our sharpening rods are made of aluminum oxide ceramics. They combine the hardness of the grindstone with the shape of the conventional sharpening steel. The Ceramic sharing rod achieves a material abrasion on the blade, whereby it is ground and reshaped on the cutting edge. Ceramic sharpening rod are not coated. They consist of a all-ceramic welding staff and do not wear off when sharpening.
